It’s weird.

If you try to create something, it takes 3X longer then you think it will take.

Everything takes at least 3X longer then it seems like it should. Sometimes it takes up to 10X longer.

But that is the barrier to entry. That is the test — can you stay committed enough to the work to get to the end?

Basically — do you care enough to see it all the way through from beginning to end?

If not, then just quit already.

Just do the thing you want to do. From beginning to end.

Begin and end. Repeat.

The problem is when we pretend we care and do a half ass job. We start and make it to the half way point. Then we give up.

This is how the majority of creative endeavors fail — lack of commitment.

But so what? If you don’t love something to death, why even do it?
