I agree with some of what you wrote. But I do believe PETA is an organization that literally is detrimental to it’s stated causes.

Actually if you look at it separately from it’s stated mission, it’s hard to understand what it is — what is PETA? Mostly it appears to be some sort of long-playing performance art.
