Why Do We Hate Women?

The bible told me so

One out of every six women has been sexually assaulted (1). The Misogyny Hate Crime Evaluation Report studied a group of women in 2018, and after two years reported that half of them had been groped, more than half had been followed home, a quarter experienced threatening behavior, and a quarter of them had been sexually assaulted (2). Women live with the threat of violence around every corner.

“If a daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.”

As I note here, Mother Goddess worship flourished from the Upper Paleolithic period to the Neolithic period. Around eight to ten thousand years ago, humans transitioned away from the relatively egalitarian cultures of hunting and gathering toward agricultural cultures, and began to worship a plethora of gods and goddesses (3), eventually fixating on powerful war gods that reflected the hierarchical social structures of the time. Male domination and violence arose as we transitioned from Goddess worship to God worship, shifting our cultural attitudes from respect toward nature for her abundance, to worshiping the sun for his power.
